It is the second phase of the completed College Villas project (45 units, 2024). The site is in the same sub-district as UWC Thailand International School, making it one of the closest residential projects to that campus on the island. Completion is targeted for 2026.
Can a foreign buyer own a villa at College Villas Phase II?
Yes. The building structure is eligible for freehold ownership in a foreign buyer’s name. The land is held on a 30-year leasehold, or via a Thai limited company. Under Supreme Court ruling 4655/2566 (18 March 2025), automatic lease extensions beyond the first 30-year term are not legally enforceable in Thailand, so buyers must obtain independent Thai legal advice before signing any lease structure that includes pre-signed renewal options.
